Playwright, novelist and filmmaker Leigh Podgorski’s We are Still Here has joined the Documentary Channel. Although broadcast dates have not yet been announced, the DVD is now available.
The film is a simple but powerful look at an American Indian culture determined to survive the test of time. The compelling narrative is interspersed with theatrical scenes written by Podgorski to dramatize the spiritual mythology of the Cahuilla Indians of Southern California.
